Tampere Hall is the main venue for all daytime activities, including the Trade Fair, Conference, Films, Networking Sessions, as well as day- and nighttime showcases on the Daycase Stage / Northern Connections Stage (Small Auditorium) and the Theatre Stage (Main Auditorium).
All of Tampere Hall’s auditoriums, rooms, and public areas are wheelchair-accessible. There are threshold ramps in all doorways and the entrances have automatic doors. Please see here for further visualised information on accessible entrances and parking.
Designated wheelchair spaces in the auditoriums are available. However, please be aware that, due to the unreserved nature of showcase auditoriums and depending on demand, delegates may need to wait for a space to become available.
Tampere Hall offers mobility aids to those who require them. Please consult the staff at the Tampere Hall Info Counter at the entrance of the venue in case of need.
Nursing rooms and wheelchair-accessible bathrooms are available on all floors. Gender-neutral bathrooms are available on levels 1-3.

Check-in, Registration, & Media Counter; Awareness Info Point; Box Office; and Cloakroom are located on the ground floor (1st floor in Finland).
The Trade Fair takes place on levels 1 and 2; Film on level 2; Receptions and Speed Meetings on level 3; while the Conference Rooms are spread across levels 0, 2, and 3.
Theatre Stage (Main Auditorium) is accessible via levels 1 and 2. The Daycase / Northern Connections Stage can be accessed via level 2. Multiple lifts (some with braille) are available to facilitate access to all floors.
The Main Auditorium and the Small Auditorium are equipped with induction loop technology.

Quiet Room & Quiet Trade Fair Hours:
For those seeking to reduce sensory overload during the Trade Fair and Conference programme, a dedicated Quiet Room (Aaria) is available during day- and night-time activities on level 2 of Tampere Hall, beside the Theatre Stage (Main Auditorium).
For a more sensory-friendly experience at the Trade Fair, consider visiting during the early hours. The Trade Fair tends to have a lower sensory load on Thursday to Saturday from 10 am to 12 pm, and right after the opening on Wednesday from 2 pm to 4 pm.

The cinema offers no automatic doors, however, the staff will assist in the limitedly accessible entrance. Wheelchair-accessible toilets and an induction loop in the cinema are provided.

The concert hall of Olympia is accessible via lift, with volunteers available on-site to assist. The lift has a limited capacity. Please contact the volunteers on-site at Olympia to assist you or get in touch with us in advance via inclusion@womex.com in case of large wheelchairs.
No wheelchair-accessible toilets are offered at Olympia.

The Torni Stage at Paja Kongressi is one of the WOMEX venues for evening Showcases.
Paja Kongressi offers wheelchair-accessible entrances as well as lifts. Wheelchair-accessible toilets and a unisex bathroom are available.
Designated wheelchair spaces are available. However, please be aware that, due to the unreserved nature of showcase auditoriums and depending on demand, delegates may need to wait for a space to become available.
Rooms for breastfeeding or nursing can be easily arranged by contacting the staff on-site.

This venue will host the Club Summit as well as evening Showcases.
Tavara-asema ensures accessibility via wheelchair to the entire ground floor (stage level), which includes cloakroom, bar, and wheelchair-accessible toilets. All of the venue’s bathrooms are gender-neutral. There are no lifts leading to the first floor.

To get to the venue via car, there is an accessible drop-off and pick-up point available for access via Murtokatu. However, due to multiple construction sites around the venue, arriving by car might take some more time than usual. Please consult the WOMEX App for an updated Tampere map (including construction info) or get in touch with the venue via e-mail to tavara-asema@kulttuurikamari.fi.
Fully-registered disabled delegates may be accompanied by a personal assistant (carer) free of charge. Please contact us before the event at inclusion@womex.com if you have any special access needs, to make your time at WOMEX as easy as possible.

Tampere City offers free public transport for WOMEX delegates via QR code visible on the delegate badge. Additionally, WOMEX shuttle buses are arranged in between the venues. For assistance with routes between venues, please contact: inclusion@womex.com
All venues besides Olympia offer wheelchair-accessible toilets. Gender-neutral bathrooms are offered in all venues besides Arthouse Cinema Niagara and Olympia. Please see venue-specific information for further details and contact members on-site for directions.
