Toleka Events is a London-based artist management and cultural production company representing both contemporary and legendary African artists for international touring, festivals, and creative collaborations.
Founded and directed by Ziyah Hamandishe, a booking agent, artist manager, and producer with over 25 years across live music, performance, and cultural programming, Toleka connects the global stage with Central and Southern African, and African-Caribbean artists. The roster includes Kékélé — the last Congolese Rumba band, living legends and Congolese superstars recognised by former U.S. President Barack Obama — with Kanta Nyboma among its lead voices.

Toleka brings these artists to audiences through high-quality live experiences — from concerts and tours to workshops and cultural showcases — celebrating the golden era of Congolese Rumba and Soukous, Zouk, and South African Jazz while promoting new artists. The company also supports creative export, licensing, and sync opportunities across music, media, and film. Toleka ensures that the voices and stories of African and diaspora artists are captured, preserved, and celebrated through live music — connecting generations worldwide.
