Visibility settings for the company and / or each delegate can be changed by the user after the account has been activated. Existing user settings are saved in the account.
Changing visibility of your Company address and business contacts: Please log in to your account. On the 'MyWOMEX' landing page, click on "Edit my company data" on the right-hand side.
In step 1, you can choose the visibility of your company address by selecting either "Yes, show address to other delegates" or "No, keep this private." Please click on "Next step" to proceed.
In step 2, in the business contact section, you can select whether your business email address and phone number should be visible to other delegates by choosing "Yes, show contact to other delegates" or if you want to keep them hidden, select "No, only show 'Contact' button." Notifications about messages received via the neutral contact button will be forwarded by email to the main business address listed for the company.To save all changes, please click “save” in the breadcrumbs or proceed through all six steps by clicking "Next step" at the bottom of each page, and at the end, click on "save company."
Changing visibility of your Company profile: To change visibility of the entire Company profile, click on „set private/public“ on your company profile or on the „MyWOMEX“ landing page. Please note that any delegate profiles associated with the company account will automatically become invisible as well. This will affect the Who is Coming list and WOMEX App, as well as the messaging feature.
Changing visibility of delegate details: The minimum information displayed on all delegate profiles is the delegate name and information on WOMEX attendance and participation history (if applicable). Information on pronouns and country of origin requested in the registration process are for statistics only and not displayed anywhere. Adding further personal information on your delegate profile (such as your phone number, email, job title, bio or social media handles) is optional and will be displayed.
To add your personal details on virtualWOMEX, log in to your account, go to the 'MyWOMEX' landing page, and click on "Edit my delegate data" in the right-hand menu. In the delegate data section, you can add or remove your personal details.To save all changes, please click “save” in the breadcrumbs or proceed through all five steps by clicking "Next step" at the bottom of each page, and at the end, click on "save delegate."
Keep in mind: for your person profile and the personal details to be public, the company account must be selected to be published and visible on virtualWOMEX.
Changing visibility of a delegate profile: To change visibility of the entire delegate profile, click on „set private/public“ on your delegate profile or on the „MyWOMEX“ landing page. Please note that this will affect visibility the Who is Coming list and WOMEX App, as well as the messaging feature.
Please note that if you have added or removed information from your virtualWOMEX public profile(s), it may take some time for search engines to update their results and reflect these changes. The WOMEX team has no influence over this process.
