Based in Inverness, Scotland, Brian Ó hEadhra is an established musician, singer, and songwriter who records and performs with acclaimed acts McKerron Brechin Ó hEadhra, Cruinn, Brian Ó hEadhra & Fionnag NicChoinnich, and as a solo artist. He has also toured extensively and recorded with Anam, Christine Primrose and many other folk-music acts from Ireland and Scotland over a 35-year career.
Brian is also engaged in supporting and running various prestigious arts and cultural projects in Scotland and across the North Atlantic region. He is a founding member of the North Atlantic Song Community, Anam Communications, and is a board member of Findhorn Bay Arts, and the Traditional Music Forum (Scotland). He established the Inverness Acoustic Music Club in early 2023.
Brian is the Partnerships & Development Manager with the Scottish Gaelic language board Bòrd na Gàidhlig (p/t) and has a BA Hons. in Irish Folklore and English Literature from University College Dublin. Brian hosts weekly online classes in Gaelic song and conversation with students from around the world attending.
