Evolving Traditions

I´m a folk musician, composer and arranger from southern Sweden. I play in many different ensembles and projects (see my homepage). My "home tradition" is Swedish folk music, but I also have over 30 years experience in playing klezmer and balkan music, over 10 years of playing Arabic music, and have also played everything from Indian to Latin American music. I also write and arrange music for all kinds of ensembles.
My main instrument is saxophones, but I also play different kind of flutes, didgeridoo, and sing.
I work part time as senior lecturer of folk and world music at the Acacemy of Music in Malmö, Sweden, and course director of the Folk and World music programs there.
