Founded in January 2001, the CRICAO Association aims to support the creative work of artists who promote world cultures and those who work on a language of interculturality and cultural fusion (of cultures and modes of expression). Influenced by different cultures, CRICAO's members engage in rich and passionate debates that lead them to take a stand and promote both cultural diversity and the universality of what brings us back to the earth and to the spirit.
With its three main objectives of creation, dissemination and transmission, CRICAO must constantly question itself.
In a global context of circulation and standardisation of works, the association aims to support unique creation, the result of constant questioning of tradition in its relationship to spirituality and transmission, considered in dialogue with contemporary Western aesthetics.
