Sarahysha is a Brazilian artiste,singer, performer, chorégraphe and composer based in Benin, where established The Spiritual Biatch! a research laboratory for music, audiovisual, and performance . With a focus on afrofuturist aesthetics and thought, the project seeks for study the traditional rhythms of Benin , the afro-jazz musicality of Brazil, and binaural music, creating a unique sound texture that invites us to immerse ourselves in the experience of space and time. A research on ancestral sound, rhythms and symbols in contemporary music and body It is inspired by popular African and diasporic rhythms, Alice Coltrane, Sun Ra, Prince, Baden Powel, Kikko Dinucci , Juçara Marçal, Elis Regina and Michael Jackson, in a jazz-punk version.
