The Pan-Indigenous Networking Session returns to build on the momentum of last year’s gathering, where Indigenous artists, cultural leaders, and industry allies began shaping a shared declaration for visibility, equity, and collaboration across the global music sector. This year’s 90-minute session will share the outcomes and learnings from that process, provide space to review progress, and map a pathway towards a formalised Indigenous Declaration Plan to be launched in future editions. The session will invite reflections and suggestions from Indigenous participants at WOMEX to help refine and strengthen the Declaration, ensuring it reflects their priorities while supporting the future development and growth of Indigenous musicians worldwide.
