TRILOG is where flamenco, jazz, and Hindustani music meet in spontaneous conversation.
Formed in Spain by flutist Lara Wong, guitarist Melón Jiménez, and tabla player Chaitanya Natu, the trio traces flamenco's nomadic path from India to the Mediterranean. Somewhere between the fiery spirit of Paco de Lucía and the hypnotic energy of Shakti, their music comes alive through soulful melodies and improvised trialogue.

Flamenco Jazz
Flamenco’s nomadic roots find new life in the music of Melón Jiménez & Lara Wong. Rooted in flamenco and tinted with jazz, their music echoes flamenco’s roots from India to Africa to Latin America. Since coming together in Madrid in 2021, Lara Wong and Melón Jiménez have performed over 100 concerts across four continents, appearing at renowned venues such as the National Arts Centre, Blue Note Shanghai, Suma Flamenca, and SunFest. Their debut album CONFLUENCIAS was nominated for a JUNO Award.
Lara Wong, a Canadian flutist and bansuri player, made history as the first woman and first foreigner to win the Filón Minero for Best Flamenco Instrumentalist at Spain’s Festival del Cante de las Minas, and is celebrated for pioneering the use of the Indian bansuri in flamenco.
