Since WOMEX 2019 in Tampere, the local restaurant scene has become more interesting and diverse. Here are some recommended restaurants short walking distance from Tampere-talo and other showcase venues. In Finland lunch buffets are normally the best deals, but best go early - between 11–14. Often restaurant kitchens close one hour before the mentioned closing times. Most hotels offer good Continental breakfast, even if they might have a chain restaurant vibe.
