VÄDUR is a folk music band consisting of four young, highly skilled instrumentalists with plenty of energy and stage presence. Together, they have established themselves as an exciting and fresh addition to the Swedish folk music scene. With roots in Nordic folk music, the members compose their own material, drawing influences from jazz and classical music, among others. The result is a blend of atmospheric string melodies, combined with rhythmic intensity and a groove that sets the whole room swaying. Their four distinctive personal styles and musical backgrounds merge seamlessly on stage, creating a unified musical experience that effortlessly captivates the audience.

During their 3 year long life as a band, Vädur has activly been playing for an enthusiastic live audience. Mostly in Sweden, but also in Denmark. They headlined the traditional festival Anundsjöstämman (Örnsköldsvik, Sweden), Headlined Stödestämman(Stöde, Sweden) 2025, and played a concert in the renowned folk music scene Boda Loge (Rättvik, Sweden).
