TmbaTa Orchestra

TmbaTa Orchestra is a dynamic Armenian band that masterfully blends traditional folk music with modern soundscapes, creating a unique fusion of ancient melodies and contemporary rhythms. Founded by Arik Grigoryan at TUMO Center for Creative Technologies, the band is known for its innovative approach to world music, telling the timeless stories of Armenian folk culture in a fresh and immersive way. Over the years, TmbaTa has performed at numerous prestigious international festivals and concerts, including "SXSW" in Austin, TX, “Folklife Festival” in Washington, D.C., a performance in “New York City Center", NY, “Berklee College of Music", MA, with month long tours in Europe and the US.
TmbaTa had the chance to meet and have musical discussions with famous artists like Ian Gillan (Deep Purple), Serj Tankian (SOAD), Charles Aznavour, Kanye West, Richard Bona, Boiler Room, etc.
