One of the most exciting original Latin bands in the UK, Tempo Feliz fuse classic Brazilian styles (samba, bossa, MPB) with elements of funk, soul, jazz and disco to create electrifying and unique grooves guaranteed to fill the dance floor. Tempo Feliz have been featured on BBC Radio 1, Worldwide FM, Tina Edwards’ Next Big Thing, have extensive international radio play and have shared the stage with Brazilian music legend, Marcos Valle on his last two UK tours. They've been described as “Brazilian jazz-funk samba power ” by renowned Jazz promoter DJ Lubi Jovanovic.
Featuring top soloists from the UK jazz scene (including players from TC and the Groove Family, Nubiyan Twist, Plantfood, Awen Ensemble) debut album, 'Respirar' also collaborates with esteemed DJs such as Aroop Roy, Sibson, and Charles Vaughan. The band’s anthem 'Beija Flor' is a staple in the world-famous, Folamour’s, DJ set - seeing thousands of people get down to Tempo Feliz on his world tour. Audiences should expect huge horns, the funkiest samba guitar, infectious Brazilian rhythms, traditional percussion and beautiful melodies that echo the spirit of Rio de Janeiro. In 2024, the band are finalising their follow-up record after a year of composing a new repertoire of soul-lifting anthems. They can’t wait to play it all live!
