The iconic Paris Combo celebrates their late songwriter and charismatic chanteuse, Belle du Berry with special guest vocalists.

Seven studio albums and two and a half decades spent traveling the globe, including more than 20 US tours, have enabled Paris Combo to create an international following for their unique and cosmopolitan sound. The combo has struck a chord with critics and audiences alike, with its fun-loving mix of swinging gypsy jazz, cabaret, French pop, and Latino and Middle Eastern rhythms.

In August of 2020, fans of Paris Combo were stunned to learn of the death of the group’s singer/songwriter Belle du Berry, who died aged just 54, following a brief battle with cancer. Her passing was a tragic loss for all those touched by her charismatic presence as a performer and songwriter during a career spanning 30 years and over a hundred songs.

In 2023, Paris Combo re-convened at the invitation of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival. With guest vocalists Carmen Maria Vega, Billie, Aurore Voilqué, Ella Lewis and Mano Razanajato, they pay a vibrant tribute to Belle du Berry in a unique celebration of the songs that have made Paris Combo a favorite on the international scene, including selections from their final studio album with Belle, “Quesaco?”.

This tribute collaboration ensemble will be widely available for touring, Celebrating the Songs of Belle du Berry.
