Despite being from Minas Gerais, Madhá found her voice and musical identity in Rio de Janeiro's street arts scene. Her career includes performances at soundsystems, fairs, subways and soirees, where her influences of reggae, surf music, afrobeat and soul have blended to create an authentic sound. This combination, added to the audiovisual elements she has absorbed throughout her career, has shaped a unique artist who captivates audiences at every performance.
The artist continues to be one of the exponents of Brazilian Reggae, with all her talent and a story full of success, struggle and many dreams, with a career full of great moments. In addition, the singer is already working on a new song with Gabriel Elias, scheduled for release in December.
Major releases
Madhá has been collecting outstanding collaborations in recent months. In June, just a week after releasing the song “Tem que ter Fé” in partnership with Junior Dread, the singer performed alongside Emmano and Vitin, from the band Onze:20, at the same Longboard Paradise. The partnership with Junior Dread marks a significant moment in the singer's career, with lyrics that carry strong and imposing messages.
In July, the artist released “Rising Sun”, a collaboration with American rapper Archie. The track has an engaging reggae feel, perfect for a dance for two, and is winning over more and more listeners. In addition, Madhá took part in Emmano's concert at Circo Voador on July 28, opening for the band 3030, which reinforced her presence on the Rio de Janeiro music scene.
Madhá continues with new projects and collaborations. She recently welcomed Manu Testa, a Bahian artist, to record a new single.
In celebration of her birthday on August 3, Madhá made a special appearance at another Emmano concert. She will then perform at Rasta Beach on August 9 and, on September 14, she will be at the Sansei Blessed Festival in Guaratiba, along with other artists from the Blessed label.
