Thanks to the support of ITA – Italian Trade Agency for the promotion and internationalization of Italian companies, our country will participate in the world’s leading global music event with a collective presence that brings together artists, institutions, associations, and cultural enterprises under the banner of the Italian Pavilion.
Emilia-Romagna Music Export, a project by Emilia-Romagna Music Commission and ATER Fondazione aimed at promoting the internationalization of the regional music ecosystem, will be present at WOMEX 2025 with a diverse delegation of festivals, music publishers, booking agencies, cultural foundations, and research centers.
From Liscio — the region’s most iconic folk tradition, now reimagined by new generations — to world music, jazz, and experimental projects, the delegation reflects a territory where heritage meets innovation: a vibrant network ready for new collaborations, exchanges, and international journeys.
This year reaffirms the collaboration between Assomusica, the association of live music organizers and producers; Regione Puglia, within the framework of the regional music development program Puglia Sounds; Regione Emilia-Romagna, through its music export project for the internationalization of the regional music ecosystem developed by Emilia-Romagna Music Commission and ATER Fondazione; Sicily Music Conference; and the festival networks Italian World Beat and the Rete Italiana World Music.
