Fado singer Jonas releases ‘Bato a Porta’, the second single from Maçã d’Adão, the new album out on 13 September.
Jonas is a multidisciplinary artist whose career includes dancer, choreographer and singer-songwriter. With a career spanning almost two decades, he has presented his work on various national and international stages, and now joins the agency Locomotiva Azul.
‘Bato a Porta‘ is the second single from Jonas upcoming album, entitled ‘Maçã d’Adão‘. This song emphasizes the Iberian heritage of Portuguese culture and continues the author’s mission to bring dance back to fado. It is a poem that exalts the constant pulse between life and death in a continuous dance. It is a dance between luck and misfortune, between highs and lows, straights and curves through which each person’s individual path is built.
