From futuristic flute sounds, ESINAM leads her listeners through powerful, complex rhythms and poetic lyrics into her incomparable universes of Electronic Afro Jazz and far beyond.... Her songs are meandering in global as well as traditional grooves and sounds. Searching for balance between acoustic and electronic, between future and past, she expresses her feelings in her compositions, to which she adds an individual touch through spontaneous development. Based on loops, samples, impressions and field recordings, each song of her debut album "Shapes in Twilights of Infinity" follows one another, like a cycle that opens, evolves, transforms and finally returns to the starting point. The Belgian-Ghanaian multi-instrumentalist has already shown this impressively on many international stages (Jazz Re:Freshed, Eurosonic Noorderslag, Gent Jazz Festival, Prague Music Festival, Jazz & Joy Worms, SOUND OF THE FOREST Festival and many more), both as a soloist and with her band.
