Edith Swundy – Where Colombian Roots Meet Swiss Precision and Global Beats
Born in Switzerland to Swiss and Colombian parents, Edith Swundy has been immersed in a world of cultures from the very start. At just twelve years old, she moved with her family to Florida, where Miami’s vibrant Latin music scene ignited a passion that would shape her artistic identity.
After making her first steps on the Swiss Latin music scene in 2020 as a singer and songwriter in a local group, Edith quickly discovered her love for the stage and began crafting her own songs. Her music blends Colombian rhythms—cumbia, dembow, and African-inspired percussion—with a dreamy, danceable soundscape that feels both authentic and innovative.
Her debut single “Bailemos” (2024), produced with Colombian producer Mario Pinedo, marked a turning point in her career, while her 2025 follow-up “Deja Fluir”, co-produced with Mexico-Canadian artist Boogát, confirmed her rising international profile.
Currently working on her first album, scheduled for release in 2026, Edith Swundy promises a vibrant, rhythmic, and soulful journey through Colombia’s rich traditions infused with contemporary global sounds. Her live performances are a celebration of cultural fusion—inviting audiences to dance, dream, and feel deeply.
