Virtuous bassist DUDU is a recognized jazz musician, with 40 yrs’ career, 22 albums (CDs/DVDs/ LPs) with guests like João Bosco, Milton Nascimento, Wagner Tiso, Toninho Horta, Hermeto Pascoal and Stanley Jordan (USA), among others. His “Concerto para Contrabaixo” is the result of his dedication to music and freedom, immersing himself in the universe of his basses (acoustic, electric, fretless, “baixolão”), where the rhythmic, harmonic and melodic details are taken to the extreme.
With SONY Music he launched the DVD "Dudu Lima Trio - Som de Minas ao vivo em Ibitipoca" with a great potential for the international market due to its musical excellence allied to his engagement in the ecological cause.
He also launched back in 2015 the CD "Milton Nascimento and Dudu Lima Trio - Tamarear", in partnership with TAMAR Project.
DUDU LIMA Trio performed countless tours all over the country, from sophisticated concert halls to far away regions, and late 2018 performed its first tour in Europe.
