DHOAD Gypsies of Rajasthan Announce 2026 European Tour — Now Available for Summer Festivals and Concert Series

Jaipur, India / Paris, France
The internationally acclaimed DHOAD Gypsies of Rajasthan, cultural ambassadors of India’s vibrant heritage, proudly announce their 2026 European Tour, running from February to November 2026.

Recognized as one of the world’s leading ensembles of traditional Rajasthani musicians and dancers, DHOAD bring the soul of India’s desert culture to stages across the globe. With over 1,500 performances in more than 110 countries, the group continues to enchant audiences with dazzling music, hypnotic rhythms, and spellbinding dance.

Composed of eight outstanding artists — musicians, singers, dancers, a fakir, and an acrobat — DHOAD presents a spectacular, colorful, and festive show filled with the authentic music and dance traditions of Rajasthan.

Their performances feature traditional instruments such as the sarangi, tabla, dholak, and kartal, creating a captivating blend of rhythm and melody that reflects the deep soul of Indian desert culture. The DHOAD artists hail from renowned artistic families and leading musician communities of Rajasthan, whose traditions have been passed down through generations of royal-court performers.

“Our music is a bridge between cultures,” says Rahis Bharti, founder and artistic director of DHOAD. “Through rhythm, color, and emotion, we share the spirit of Rajasthan with the world — a message of joy, peace, and unity.”

For the past 25 years, Rahis Bharti and his DHOAD ensemble have been spreading the music and dance of Rajasthan to the world’s most prestigious festivals and concert venues, from Europe to the Americas and beyond. Their dedication has made DHOAD a global symbol of Indian cultural excellence and artistic diplomacy.

The 2026 tour will include performances in major cities and cultural venues across Europe, including confirmed dates in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain (full schedule to be announced soon).

In addition to their touring program, DHOAD Gypsies of Rajasthan are now available for bookings in summer festivals and concert series for 2026. Their performances, ideal for both open-air and indoor events, bring an explosion of color, energy, and authenticity — a true celebration of India’s cultural diversity.

“Every DHOAD concert is a feast for the senses — a living expression of India’s timeless traditions,” Bharti adds. “We look forward to collaborating with European festivals and concert organizers to share this journey.”
