MUSICIAN, SONGWRITER, TOPLINER, PRODUCER FROM SOUL AND R&B TO THE TRADITION OF NORTHERN MOZAMBIQUE
Winner of Ngoma Moçambique Best Male Voice Award in 2016 and 2023; Showcase winner of the First Mozambican Music Hackathon 2024.
His sound is a mixture of influences, the result of his experiences from North to South of the country. From soul and R&B to the tradition of northern Mozambique, combined with conscious lyrics sung in Portuguese, English and Emaakwa.
His melodies reflect the strong Arab musical influence of Northern Mozambique. He published two albums, “Eparaka” & “Rokotxi”.
He took part of international Festivals such as: SAKIFO FESTIVAL, AZAGO FESTIVAL (Mozambique), IOMA (Rèunion Island), FETE DE LA MUSIQUE (Johannesburg S.A). He collaborated with Joss Stone during her world tour in December 2016.
