Compota de Manana, formed in Barcelona in 2018, is one of the most avant-garde bands on the European Latin scene. They created Alternatimba, a bold and original fusion of Afro-Cuban music with rap, funk, and jazz. Their acclaimed debut album La Alternatimba (2018) led to appearances at major festivals like Couleur Café, Orange FIC, and Say It Loud, as well as sold-out shows in Barcelona’s Sala Apolo and Madrid’s Sala Villanos. They've collaborated with renowned artists such as Alexander Abreu, Mayito Rivera, Telmary Díaz, Original Elías, and Big Lois. In 2025, they released Cuestión de Tiempo, a powerful 16-track album mixed in Havana and mastered by Latin Grammy-winning engineers. In January 2026, they’ll perform at the Jazz Plaza Festival in Havana.
