Between Nordic frost and Balkan fever

Vilma Talvitie and Alice in WonderBand introduce an interesting dialogue between Nordic ice and Balkan fire, with a touch of their own compositions and arrangements. The concert presents the simplest, yet revolutionary way of making music with the human body.

The traditional and author’s songs are revitalised stories that take us on the road around the world. Energetic stage performance, the joy of improvisation, and strong non-verbal and physical communication and interaction between the band members and the audience create an intense, yet heartwarming atmosphere.

Serbian Balkan body music duo and Finnish performing artist and singer-pianist already collaborated at the Kaustinen Folk Music Festival and in Bahnhof Leisnig in Germany. They join the talents in a new song on the upcoming album of AWb.
