With his debut album "Kiğı", Ali Doğan Gönültaş was awarded in the Bestenliste 4/2023 of the Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik (the German Record Critics' Award) in the category of Traditional Ethnic Music. Less than a year later, last Thursday, it was announced that his second album Keyeyî has been selected for the Bestenliste 3/2024.
These albums are the first two releases in the catalog of Mapamundi Música as a record label. The company has been already working as a management and booking agency since 2007 and its director, Araceli Tzigane, is Ali's manager. He will make a showcase in WOMEX Manchester.
